At Murphy Beds of Los Angeles, we do custom Murphy beds hand in hand with you and specifically for your needs. A custom Murphy consultation starts either at our showroom or your house, but by the time we order it, you’ve been to our showroom, and we’ve been to your house! Our team goes to every home we install a Murphy bed at to ensure there are no issues on delivery day.

Once we have a handle on what you want, we’ll take all dimensions, measurements and generate a hand sketch for a quote. Once we’ve received the quote, that’s the time we move on to computer-generated drawings. These drawings simply make the design come to life. It’s during this stage that we address all the specifics of your design. Sometimes we have to try a couple of ideas until we find the right design you imagined.

Here are some pictures of the initial design to the final design we recently did for Heather. Heather needed a Murphy bed that worked in her dining room, but also could function as a desk most of the time. Symmetry and a good design were very important to Heather. It took a couple of times going back and forth until we settled on a design. Once the design is signed off on, the color is picked and the final look of the Murphy Bed installed is discussed, we’re ready to build your dream bed. These pictures show some design processes.
